Bonnevoie Gambit Chess Circle

Founded on March 12, 1936 in the then café Nic Moritz-Bach on rue du Verger (formerly Baumstraße), the Gambit Bonnevoie chess circle is a well-known chess club in the capital.

Headquartered in Bonnevoie, a multicultural district close to the Gare de Luxembourg, its players/members reflect the composition of the City of Luxembourg and form a cosmopolitan mix.

Communication within the club takes place in Luxembourgish, French, German and English. The club's premises are located in the basement of the Omnisports hall on rue François Gangler.
